Botox for Forehead Wrinkles – Cost & Reviews
The horizontal lines and creases which develop on the forehead are an inevitable sign of aging. Also referred to as forehead rows, these are lines that run horizontally across the whole forehead.
They typically start to develop in middle aged persons as the skin loses collagen and elastin. The process can be accelerated by excessive sun exposure, genetics and from very active facial expressions (ie: moving your eyebrows up and down or looking up with your head tilted downward). As a result of these factors, forehead lines can appear more prominent and exacerbate the patient’s aged appearance.
Botox injections can be used to relax the muscles in the forehead so the horizontal lines are no longer apparent with the facial movements. Whilst many have joked and commented that this form of treatment makes the person look expressionless or blank faced, the treatment is still nevertheless very popular in alleviating the forehead wrinkle problem. The costs associated with reducing forehead lines with Botox injections depends largely on how many wrinkles there are and their depth. The upper forehead lines require approximately 15 to 20 units of Botox, depending on their severity and extent. This equates to approximately $150 to $300. If the forehead creases need to be combined with dermal fillers the cost of treatment increases accordingly.

wow, botox really works
I had my injections last week. At first I didn't notice much of a result. The area was a little tender and there was some swelling, but nothing major. Today I woke up and I look fabulous. The wrinkles are completely gone. A big thank you to my doctor!
no more wrinkles but i can't sleep
the Botox works great for reducing my forehead lines, but after i have the treatment i can't seem to sleep. last time this lasted five days. I can't afford to have insomnia, i can't concentrate at work and i get grumpy. I'm not sure if it's the botox or just me but I might try an alternative next time.
Great results each time
I get Botox about three times a year. I've never had any major issues or complications. There's swelling in the treated area, but this only lasts a few days.
great results, somewhat painful
I had my forehead and lines between the eyebrows injected. The results took about 4 days to fully show. I felt nauseous and had a little pain and bleeding when injected. However, it looks fantastic and I'm going back for more.
don't do it
I had botox to fix my crow's feet and forehead. the doctor ended up injecting close to my eyebrows & it caused my eyebrows & eyelids to droop.
How did I ever survive without Botox? It just seems like a necessity now, along with dying my hair and manicuring my nails. But out of everything I do to keep up my looks, Botox is the one thing I wouldn't give up.
I absolutely love this product. For less than $100 a month, I can take 10 years off my face. It seems like such a large surface area to treat, but the forehead can usually be treated with just one injection. I highly recommend it.
